Love Dr. Ramirez-Boyd! Very thorough and kind. Explains everything, which is pretty amazing considering what today’s world of medicine is like. Her staff is great as well!. I would refer any female I know to her ❤️

Dr. Boyd id my OBGYN and she is the most kind and gentle doctor I have ever had. The kicker is I was assigned her from my HMO. I used to have a PPO and would research and find my own doctors and I never had as good of a doctor as her, go figure. So knowledgeable and I feel so comfortable with her. 10/10 I recommend.

The first time i was there Dr. Boyd was nice but after that she seemed to have a stick up you know where. She was late, making me wait 30 minutes! We made plans for me to get Nexplanon the next appointment I had, when I showed up to get the implant all of a sudden things changed and I couldn't get it. She told me that If I wanted it enough to go to planned parenthood. She made me feel even worse for wanting to have a child even though it is dangerous for me. She was very against it and made me want to cry. If your opinions are not hers then she is going to make you feel bad about yourself and your personal views. If you're okay with being ignored on the phone, not getting a call back, dealing with a rude doctor and staff then shes a perfect doctor for you!

Unfortunately, this office does not know how to correctly bill claims or correct their mistakes. I’ve been very patient with them for over 6 months only to keep receiving incorrect statements with a “past due balance” already paid by my insurance despite being assured by their office that everything was corrected and that I have No balance on the claim. This is extremely frustrating as I was waiting to continue my care with them until it was resolved, but now I see I am better off finding a new office and starting over with my health concerns.

Dr. Boyd is my favorite doctor that I have ever interacted with. She has helped me deliver 2 children and taken the very best care of me during a difficult pregnancy which was also during the most difficult time of my life. She cared and she listened. She gave me a plan and I stuck to it and everything turned out just fine. I have waited for her anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours but you know what? She is worth the wait!

My wife went into labor back in April 2014. Right off the bat, Dr. Boyd was not present during the beginning stages of labor, due to "getting lost". The nurses had to call for her a couple of times and when she finally did show up, that's when everything went down hill. My mother in law noticed an excessive amount of blood coming from my wife when Dr. Boyd began her delivery process. Dr. Boyd quickly made the decision to perform an emergency C-Section on my wife, who by the way was in a healthy state and was told her labor would not require C-Section. She noticed that Dr. Boyd's movements suggested she was in a state of panic and began stitching in places where stitches had no business being. Because of Dr. Boyd's carelessness my wife then had to have a second surgery 2 months after the original emergency C-Section to fix the damage she had caused. My wife had tubes coming from her bladder out through her lower back abdomen for about 3 months. She was and still is prone to bladder infections and UTI's all brought upon by Dr. Boyd's malpractice.
This is something we wish upon nobody, for something like this should not happen in a professional environment. Dr. Boyd was a horrible doctor and we would URGE everyone to stay away from her. I hope my wife's story will help anyone who is considering Dr. Boyd as their doctor, make the right decision.
*0 stars is not an option.

Dr. Boyd seemed very receptive and kind hearted at first.
I explained my ailments to her: extrutiating menstrual cramps that would make me pass out, raging yeast infections the week before my period, and a rise in suicidal thoughts on the second day of my period. These symptoms continued for months.
I practically begged Dr. Boyd to put me on birth control just to level out my hormones and keep me from being in the unbearable amount of pain I endured.
Dr. Boyd waited 5 MONTHS before putting me on a low estrogen birth control, and had me spend about $300 getting tests to make sure I didn’t have a disease/my hormones could handle a low estrogen medication.
I pleaded with Dr. Boyd to prescribe me a stronger medicine to deal with the menstrual cramps. She only offered extra strength Tylenol and refused to write me a stronger prescription as simple as Naproxen.
Also, her front desk staff is absolutely horrible. In the past, I’ve waited 5 days to hear back from the office when told I would receive a call within the next 24 hours. I had to practically harass the clinic to give me feedback on previous visits AND had to re-call prescriptions to my pharmacy that was originally supposed to be the job of her front desk staff. They seem to display hostile activity towards customers that are just wanting the staff to do their job.
Dr. Boyd also seems to pick which patients she pays attention to. When I inquired about stronger medication for pain, she refused and proceeded to say, “some pain is in our head. I can recommend a psychologist for you”. Passing out during events is not in my head. Sharp pains shooting up my lower back are not imaginary. Having a raging yeast infection that sometimes cannot be cured by one dosage of fluconazole IS NOT something I make up for fun.
Wouldn’t waste my time with this physician. If she will neglect one patient, I have no doubt she will neglect others. I expected more sincere care from a fellow woman.
