I recently had arthroscopic shoulder surgery with Dr. Kassam in Newport, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I felt and shattered my elbow May 9th and 2 days later I was in surgery. Everything went smoothly, with the hospital, the surgery, everything was beautiful. I was released 2 days later. The elbow begin to heal right away. I immediately got physical therapy. Now on Sep 22th , I have no pain, no discomfort. He has a wonderful bedside manner, and is truly a good surgeon. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Dr Kassam performed surgery on my shoulder after another surgeon had already “fixed”it. I am now two months post surgery and feel great. First time I’ve been pain free in that shoulder in 2 years.
His bedside manner and professionalism should be emulated by others. His staff is great and everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable.

Dr. Kassam did two total reverse shoulder replacements for me, four months apart. Both surgical experiences were great, and the results have have been excellent! I have more mobility in both shoulders, and am far more capable. It's interesting to be able to do the little, everyday things without any pain or constraints. I had gotten so used to living with the pain and limitations, that being able to do things now still surprises me.

Dr. Kassam was referred to me by a top shoulder specialist on the east coast. After meeting with him, I was confident in my decision to proceed with him for a Total Reverse Shoulder.
I am very pleased with Dr. Kassam and the progress I have made. I am only two months into it and I have no issues. I still need to do my exercises and PT but, I am absolutely amazed at the speed of my recover. I do highly recommend Dr. Kassam.
